The Medium Tube is best described as a big lure in a small package. When you watch this lure trucking along in your spread, you’d swear that you were running a lure twice its size. The Medium Tube does its best work in calm water and spends most its time at the surface rooster-tailing and pushing a lot of water. This shape has been a favourite blue marlin lure of Captain Steve Campbell in Vava’u Tonga on the Reel Addiction (now Blue Marlin Magic). Run it on the riggers in a medium to heavy tackle spread or on the corners in a light-medium tackle spread.
